Pals the app
Forming a community-based app that seeks to bridge the gap of connecting with other individuals at a deeper level and create meaningful friendships or networks.
UX Design and Prototyping
The creation of Pals, a community-based connection app seeks to bridge the gap between individuals that are wanting to connect to others at a deeper level and form real friendships.
The app seeks to become a connection tool that helps to take away the burden of only connecting with others at a surface level and leverage common interests to ease connections.
For this project we worked from concept through prototype creation.
The Challenge
Create a space where connections can lead to the formation of real friendships as well as a community.
Provide individuals with the tool of meeting others based on targeted common interests.
Take away the brick wall of not having a deeper network, not knowing the right people, or having the title to be accepted into certain communities.
Significance
The app’s prototype focuses on providing its users with an easy and pleasant navigating experience through a minimalistic lens.
Methodology
Pals main target audience is University students from the age of 18-24. Even though Pals is a great connection tool and can be used by anyone, this was chosen as its target audience for these users' ease of adaptation to technological solutions.
